MTN USSD Codes Not Working

The Nigerian Communications Commission has instructed mobile network operators to start using approved harmonized short codes to offer specific services to telecom consumers in Nigeria. As a result, MTN USSD codes ceased functioning on May 17, 2023, and the new harmonized codes are now active.

MTN *556# USSD Code Not Working

The MTN *556# USSD code is no longer working as of May 17, 2023. This is because MTN has changed its USSD codes in line with NCC regulations. The new USSD code to check your MTN airtime balance is *310#.
