To borrow airtime from Airtel using USSD code, follow these steps:

Step 1: Dial *500# on your Airtel line

Step 2: Select the “Borrow Credit” option, which is option ‘2’

Step 3: Next, choose the amount of airtime you want to borrow, then wait for a confirmation message from Airtel that you’ve borrowed the specified amount.

Alternatively dial *500*amount# for example to borrow 200, dial *500*200#.


Note: Airtel charges a service fee on all airtime borrowed, which will be deducted from the amount you borrowed and the rest credited to your Extra Credit balance.
